Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe what you want in your own words. If you do read code, all of it is there and editable.

Where does my data live?

On servers in the European Union. No US cloud providers are involved, so there are no transatlantic transfers to account for.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Every project gets a Vantix address immediately, and you can point your own domain at it.

What happens to the code?

It is a standard React + Vite project. Export it and keep building anywhere you like.

Vantix is a Belgian company. Your projects run on infrastructure in Germany. Both halves matter: the vendor and the servers are inside the EU, so there is no transfer mechanism to argue about.

What that means concretely

Projects, their data and their published sites are stored and served from Germany.
The company you contract with is established in Belgium and answers to Belgian and EU law.
No routine transfer of personal data outside the EEA.

What it does not mean

EU hosting is not the same as compliance. If your site collects personal data, you still need a lawful basis, a privacy statement and a sensible retention period. Vantix removes one common obstacle; it does not do your DPIA.

Third-party services you choose to connect — an analytics tool, a payment provider — have their own locations. Where you add them, that question comes back and is worth asking.

Tenders in Flanders and the Netherlands regularly ask where data is processed. A one-line, unambiguous answer beats a paragraph explaining a region setting.
